Iconic symbol of flamenco, the bata de cola is a almost a rite of passage, demanding technique, physical strength and a lot of practice, besides general proficiency in flamenco. This class will work on essential bata technique, highlighting safety and developing the control required for fluid, graceful choreographic material (cantiñas).

No bata required initially as safe technique comes first and batas are usually a made-to-measure investment. All dancers welcome to participate in end-of-year show (June 14).
